Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director - Logistics and Supply Chain to lead our regional based depots and 3rd party warehouses in Victoria.

The role involves strategic and tactical leadership of supply chain, operations and administration of our Victorian depot network, including warehousing, carton erecting and distribution to fulfill customer orders.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic direction and leadership for the depot operations team
  • Managing equipment, employees, agents, safety, logistics and administration across the network
  • Driving improved safety performance, 3PL performance, innovation and cost initiatives

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Warehousing, Supply Chain or Business)
  • At least 3 years' experience in large organisation with high SKU and customer environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP
  • Ability to effectively influence cross-functional stakeholders on matters of process and performance
  • Well-developed leadership skills and ability to manage and influence effectively across a large team
