Wildlife Sanctuary First Aider Job

Job Overview:

The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is seeking a highly skilled and experienced first aider to join their team. This seasonal casual role involves providing medical care to park guests, completing reports, and maintaining medical supplies.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer first aid treatment to visitors in a fast-paced environment
  • Document patient incidents accurately and thoroughly
  • Manage and maintain an inventory of medical supplies
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions while prioritizing safety and guest experience

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years' experience working in similar first aid environments
  • Current Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations
  • Strong focus on safety protocols and delivering exceptional guest services
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Compliance with Workplace Health and Safety regulations

Essential Qualifications:

  • HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • HLTAID010 - Provide basic emergency life support
  • HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid

Roster and Work Environment:
