Warehouse Operations Assistant

No 1 Roofing & Building Supplies is one of the largest wholesale suppliers of metal roofing and building products, servicing Sydney, Central Coast, Hunter, and Mid North Coast regions.

Job Summary:

  • Assist with loading orders on trucks and for customers.
  • Operate a forklift to move product around the branch and onto delivery vehicles.
  • Unpack goods and restock shelves.
  • Pick and pack customer orders.
  • Perform general warehouse duties.

About the Role:

As a key member of our Warehouse Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will work closely with our team to achieve excellent customer service and drive business growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Operate a forklift to move stock around the warehouse and onto delivery vehicles.
  • Unpack goods and restock shelves.
  • Prepare customer orders for dispatch.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 12 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • A valid forklift license.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail.
