Job Description

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of technicians in the development and mentorship of junior staff members;
  • Ensuring the timely repair of taxi equipment, including MTData dispatch equipment, EFTPOS machines, taxi meters, and security cameras;
  • Performing fault diagnosis and obtaining necessary parts and materials for repairs;
  • Assisting with diagnosis of vehicle issues relating to the MTData dispatch system, camera system, and Cabcharge FAREWAY plus system;
  • Removing and applying decals and livery from taxis;
  • Interpreting manuals and software to identify spare parts and liaising with management to order parts;
  • Maintaining shop equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance;
  • Complying with all documented Health and Safety policies and procedures;

You will be working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines. Strong customer service skills are essential, as you will be interacting with drivers and operators on a regular basis.
