Job DescriptionAs a Team Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of technicians in the development and mentorship of junior staff members;
- Ensuring the timely repair of taxi equipment, including MTData dispatch equipment, EFTPOS machines, taxi meters, and security cameras;
- Performing fault diagnosis and obtaining necessary parts and materials for repairs;
- Assisting with diagnosis of vehicle issues relating to the MTData dispatch system, camera system, and Cabcharge FAREWAY plus system;
- Removing and applying decals and livery from taxis;
- Interpreting manuals and software to identify spare parts and liaising with management to order parts;
- Maintaining shop equipment by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and performing preventative maintenance;
- Complying with all documented Health and Safety policies and procedures;
You will be working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively to meet deadlines. Strong customer service skills are essential, as you will be interacting with drivers and operators on a regular basis.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong leadership and communication skills;
- Technical knowledge of automotive installation and repair;
- High attention to detail and ability to work accurately;
- Excellent customer service ethic;
- Experience in prioritizing tasks and working under pressure;
