Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our team in the specialist area of collection management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies for acquisitions, loans, exhibitions, and storage of collections.
  • Supervise staff members to ensure successful completion of projects in these business areas.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations governing cultural objects.
  • Implement workflows and programs to meet acquisitions, collection loans, collection exhibitions, and collection storage needs.
  • Manage fiscal tasks such as budget tracking, vendor creation, account management, and accounts payable using software systems.
  • Build collaborative relationships with donors, lenders, insurance brokers, customs agents, couriers, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the Collection Manager on registration activities and endeavors through supervision, mentoring, guidance, and support to staff undertaking work across multiple and concurrent projects.

About You:

The ideal candidate will have experience in collection management, knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, and excellent communication and project management skills.
