Job Title: Financial Collections Specialist

This role involves managing and collecting outstanding debts on behalf of the organization, ensuring timely and effective recovery to maximize cash flow.

As a Financial Collections Specialist, you will play a crucial part in debt management, maintaining positive relationships with customers throughout the collections process.

  • Debt Management: Assess each account to determine the best strategy for collections.
  • Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with brokers and customers to ensure customer goodwill.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates on collection activities and emerging issues to management and sales teams.
  • Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Key responsibilities include debt management, relationship management, reporting, and compliance. A strong customer service ethic is essential.

Requirements:
  • Prior experience in collections or accounts receivable is beneficial.
  • Experience dealing with administrators, liquidators, disputes, and hardship enquiries is a plus.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, effective time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail are required.
  • A proactive approach and ability to acquire new knowledge quickly are necessary.
