**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Operations Coordinator to join our team at News Corp Australia.

This is a key role that plays a vital part in maintaining the smooth operation of our building facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees, visitors, and tenants.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating facility maintenance, managing vendor relationships, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting daily operations in collaboration with the Facilities Manager and other departments.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate regular maintenance and repair of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical), inspect areas, log maintenance requests, and address repairs promptly.
  • Help manage relationships with vendors, and monitor service quality and timeliness.
  • Evaluate and implement strategies to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, including fire safety, building codes, and OSHA standards.
  • Monitor facility-related inventories, such as office supplies and cleaning products, order as needed, and maintain organized storage areas.
  • Assist with space planning, coordinate office moves, handyman duties, and furniture installations, and maintain accurate floor plans and seating charts.
