The successful candidate will oversee the identification, investigation, design and construction management of planned bridge maintenance works.
- Manage and supervise a small team of engineers and sub-contractors.
- Ensure compliance with technical standards and manage the submission of departures from standard when applicable.
- Produce tender documents and pre-construction information packages.
- Assist with contract award and manage internal financial performance.
- Liaise with clients and auditors to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures.
Candidates should have experience in highway structure design and maintenance as well as statutory processes for managing health and safety, environmental and commercial aspects of schemes.
