Job Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Bridge Engineer to lead our network bridge maintenance works. This role involves managing a small design team, sub-consultants and sub-contractors.

  • Supervise the identification, investigation, design and planning of bridge maintenance schemes.
  • Oversee technical approval and design certification of outline and detailed designs.
  • Ensure compliance with technical standards or submit Departures from Standard when applicable.
  • Develop tender documents and preconstruction information packages.
  • Conduct tender evaluation and assist with contract award.
  • Manage internal financial performance of individual schemes.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures within Integrated Management Systems.
  • Perform risk assessments before works, operations or inspections.
  • Liaise with clients and auditors.
  • Coordinate drawing, document and scheme file production, issue and archiving.
  • Undertake environmental screening and implement mitigation measures prior to work commencing.
