POSITION SUMMARY:
We are in search of dedicated and skilled Culinary Preparation Specialists to become part of our flexible workforce. As a Culinary Preparation Specialist, your contributions are vital to the smooth functioning of kitchen operations, guaranteeing that all food items are prepared to exceptional standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, which includes tasks such as chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and crafting sauces.
  • Adhere to recipes and portioning standards meticulously to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
  • Assist in managing inventory by keeping track of stock levels and alerting management regarding any shortages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen by following hygiene protocols, cleaning procedures, and assisting with dishwashing duties.
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to enhance preparation processes and boost efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience as a culinary preparation specialist or in a comparable role within a professional kitchen setting.
  • Familiarity with fundamental culinary techniques and food preparation practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a high-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management abilities and skill in prioritizing tasks.
  • A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience with commercial dishwashing equipment is advantageous.
