
Claims Case Manager

Zurich seeks an experienced claims professional to manage complex workers' compensation cases.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with injured employees, employers, brokers, legal providers, and regulatory bodies to deliver timely, cost-effective, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
Key responsibilities include setting and reviewing reserves, developing case strategies, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring all claims activities meet regulatory requirements.
Requirements- Proven experience in workers' compensation claims with strong technical claims handling and injury management skills.
- Sound knowledge of Western Australia workers' compensation legislation and experience working within statutory schemes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience supporting vulnerable customers, delivering empathy-driven customer service.
- Strong decision-making and case planning skills, including setting and reviewing reserves and developing case strategies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (brokers, insurers, legal providers, regulators).
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, quality assurance, and governance.
- Resilience and ability to manage competing priorities and complex caseloads.
This role is based in Perth, with hybrid working arrangements allowing for a mix of office and remote workdays.
