About the Role
This position is primarily responsible for providing a security presence at the airport, while also performing passenger and baggage screening services. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Passenger & checked baggage security screening
- Managing traffic flow & screen at security checkpoints within the airport
- Providing solid customer service and responding professionally whilst liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
- Maintaining and following all compliance procedures and safety measures
- Recording incident reports as required
Requirements
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection - Free paid training for the right candidates
- Must have full working rights in Australia
- Ability to successfully pass Drug & Alcohol screening
- Ability to obtain an ASIC Clearance - we will fund this application
- Customer service experience with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
