Account Manager Job Description

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill the role of Account Manager, focusing on building strong relationships with merchants and driving sales growth within designated territories.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management or sales within a merchant or trade environment, demonstrating expertise in coordinating product training, analysing sales data, and developing strategic plans to expand the customer base.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering tailored solutions to meet the needs of merchants, enhancing their displays and maintaining up-to-date Point of Sale materials.
  • Representing the organisation at trade functions and customer events, fostering strong relationships with key purchasing contacts and internal stakeholders.
  • Preparing regular sales reports and contributing to strategic planning, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with merchants and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word essential); experience with ERP systems advantageous.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies, driving business growth and expansion.
