As a vital member of our service, the Court Support Officer plays a crucial role in assisting clients with court proceedings.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Aiding clients to prepare for court appearances by providing support and guidance on criminal law matters.
- Assisting with paperwork, legal forms, and court documents, as well as data entry tasks.
- Communicating effectively with legal practitioners and clients to ensure seamless case management.
- Traveling to remote communities to provide support and assistance to legal practitioners and clients.
- Participating in the 24/7 after-hours on-call service to handle phone calls and provide timely support.
We are offering an attractive annual remote allowance of $10,000 to secure service continuity and community relationships.
About YouTo excel in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and resilient traits, with a steady driving record.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software quickly.
While a current Queensland Government Blue Card is not required, you must have a current National Police Criminal Record check prior to commencing work or accessing any client files.
