Job Overview

This role presents a unique opportunity for seasoned professionals to progress beyond routine daily operations or planning tasks. Collaborate with the Senior Long-Term Engineer to design and develop critical mine infrastructure projects including ventilation systems, power distribution networks, water management systems, pumping stations, pipelines, and communications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver long-term infrastructure designs that support production goals
  • Plan and integrate capital projects into the monthly planning cycle
  • Evaluate and optimize the mine scheduling process to ensure infrastructure aligns with operational objectives
  • Support the Senior Long-Term Engineer throughout project implementation
  • Act as a liaison between Technical Services and underground operations
  • Provide operational guidance and support to production teams on a daily basis
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent qualification)
  • 4–5+ years of experience in underground production mining
  • Proven expertise in asset lifecycle planning and mid-term scheduling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder engagement ability
  • Proactive, organized approach with a commitment to safety and continuous improvement
