We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead complex projects in mining infrastructure.
- Our ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience primarily within the mineral resources and mining non-process infrastructure sectors.
- They will possess a high level of expertise and technical experience, along with the ability to provide strategic direction across a diverse portfolio of projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end design, development, and verification of civil engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and verify civil engineering solutions, including detailed designs, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Ensure robust design solutions and verify their integrity.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships and represent the company in high-level project meetings and site inspections.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and professional growth.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated project outcomes on time and within budget.
- 8-15 years of civil engineering experience, with a strong background focused on mining or resources.
- Extensive, proven technical expertise in civil engineering design principles, including proficiency in design software and design verification processes specific to the resource sector.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical documentation, such as detailed engineering reports and specifications, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing clients, contractors, and internal multi-disciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex projects under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Familiarity with Australian mining regulations and standards.
- RPEQ Certification advantageous but not mandatory.
