Our medium-sized engineering consultancy firm is a 50% employee-owned organization working on national and international projects. We are a diverse group of engineers, geologists, and geoscientists collaborating on greenfield and operating mines, surface water, and groundwater projects.

An experienced Civil Engineer will join our Brisbane-based engineering team to work on civil, mining, and resource projects in Australia and overseas. The role involves applying experience to the planning, investigation, design, and construction of tailings and water dams and waste storage for existing mining and non-resource clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement engineering designs for various projects with mining and resource clients.
  2. Design and develop engineering solutions for projects including plant sites, road and pipeline infrastructure, and waste management structures from concept to detailed design.
  3. Conduct analysis and design on range of earth retaining and waste disposal structures.
  4. Present findings and engineering solutions to clients.
  5. Prepare reports, drawings, and specifications for studies and construction projects.
  6. Undertake quality assurance, monitoring, and surveillance on designs.
  7. Develop project management skills on multi-million-dollar projects.

A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, a minimum of 5 years of related experience, and registration or eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer in Queensland (RPEQ) are required.
