Property Claims Specialist

This role presents an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise in Commercial Property, Energy and Specialty Insurance.

Our teams deliver consistent technical excellence, showcasing our service differentiation and creating a global claims handling experience.

The successful candidate will handle Property and Energy Line of Business (LOB) portfolio of claims from coverage enquiry through to quantum analysis, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.

  • Managing key claims handling enquiries and coverage determinations for complex claims
  • Ensuring effective vendor and litigation management on Complex claims within a personal allocation
  • Delivering technical training to colleagues and external contacts as appropriate
  • Ensuring adherence to best practice procedures for Property & Energy Complex claims

The ideal candidate will possess a Graduate Diploma of General Insurance or equivalent and comprehensive experience in dealing with business pack, commercial property and/or energy claims including business interruption matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing effective claims handling strategies
  • Providing expert advice on complex claims
  • Building relationships with vendors and litigants
  • Identifying and mitigating risk factors

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in General Insurance
  • Extensive experience in commercial property and energy claims
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
