Claims Specialist

Seeking a seasoned claims expert to manage complex property and energy claims. You will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in Commercial Property, Energy, and Specialty Insurance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of complex claims from coverage inquiry through to quantum analysis, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Provide training and technical guidance to colleagues and external contacts.
- Ensure adherence to best practice procedures for Property & Energy Complex claims, consistent with global standards.
- Deliver technical training to colleagues and external contacts as appropriate.
- Timely, accurate, and customer-focused claim resolution, minimizing indemnity exposure and mitigating vendor and legal expense.
Requirements
- Graduate Diploma of General Insurance or equivalent – preferred.
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Business Management or Similar – preferred.
- Comprehensive experience in dealing with business pack, commercial property, and/or energy claims including business interruption matters is essential.
- Proven ability in the interpretation and application of commercial policy wordings.
- Experience with claim negotiations and strong interpersonal flexibility is a necessity.
