Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing personal care and daily living assistance to clients in their homes
  • Assisting with meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing
  • Transporting clients to appointments and supporting them with shopping and errands
  • Collaborating with clients and their loved ones to develop personalized care plans
  • Supporting community-based recreational and social activities that promote social connections and a sense of belonging

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • Experience working in the disability sector, with a focus on supported living and community-based services
  • A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and CPR certification
  • An Open Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle
