Claims Management Specialist

This role is responsible for overseeing the entire process of claims management, ensuring exceptional service to beneficiaries and claimants by addressing their inquiries and supporting them throughout the process.

  • The primary focus will be on managing death claims, delivering the best possible experience and outcomes for individuals and have proven experience in a similar role within a superannuation or life claims assessment environment.
  • Possess expertise in claims staking, demonstrated ability to review and challenge insurer decisions, including declined claims, and skill to prepare trustee recommendations for approval.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for proactive, solution-focused interactions with individuals, beneficiaries, and legal representatives.
About the Role:
  • Manage and process various types of claims, including total permanent disability, income protection, death, terminal illness, and family law claims.
  • Oversight of the entire process of death claims, ensuring exceptional service to beneficiaries and claimants.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a superannuation or life claims assessment environment.
  • Expertise in claims staking and ability to review and challenge insurer decisions.
  • Prepare trustee recommendations for approval.
