Community Leadership Role

Seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to oversee the day-to-day administration of an independent living facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of running a retirement village, including office administration, financial management, asset management, supplier management, and resident and family interactions.

  • Mandatory requirements include:
  • A result-focused attitude, not just clock-watching
  • Experience and skills in organizing and planning
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient and effective time management
  • Strong crisis management skills
  • Competency in accounts, reconciliation, and MYOB
  • Good interpersonal skills for interacting with residents, families, staff, and suppliers
  • Ability to obtain a police check
  • Highly desirable qualifications include:
  • Qualifications and/or experience in business or facility management
  • Understanding of operations within an independent living retirement village
  • Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements related to retirement villages
