
Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

As the primary point of contact for environmental, health and safety (EHS) matters, this role oversees all aspects of site operations at Huntingwood and Prospect.
You will collaborate closely with the business to develop and implement key EHS processes, providing consultancy, training, coaching and technical support to local personnel. This includes reviewing and implementing site-specific procedures, national requirements and current EHS performance to drive improvement and optimisation.
- Develop and maintain local EHS policies and procedures in line with national standards.
- Analyse current EHS data to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide coaching and support to improve EHS incident and risk management processes.
- Create and deliver training packages on relevant systems and processes.
- Liaise with stakeholders across the business to implement the Asahi Critical Control program.
- Support injury management and return to work initiatives, liaising with the National Workers Compensation and Injury Management team.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
- Cultivate leadership accountability in driving a safety and wellbeing culture programme.
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in planning, developing and implementing health and safety compliance programs, occupational health and safety qualifications, experience with return to work and rehabilitation, and a minimum of three years' experience in an EHS role in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.
