Higher Education Worker Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Higher Education Worker Level 4.

  • This is a fixed-term, full-time position within the Students Directorate at CQUniversity Mackay.

About the role:

The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service, support students, and navigate university systems and processes. They will also contribute to creating an inclusive and diverse community within our institution.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing timely and accurate advice on course information, administration, admissions, enrollment, fees, and scholarships.
  2. Servicing students via multiple channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  3. Developing strong relationships with students and promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  4. Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with diverse individuals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using technology, including Microsoft software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
