About the Role

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive experience in incident management, problem-solving, and service continuity. As a key player in safeguarding critical technology services, they will be responsible for leading the response to high-priority incidents and driving rapid recovery to minimize business impact.

This role involves coordinating 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level technical and business resources to resolve complex issues efficiently. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be able to command and control under pressure, prioritize conflicting demands, and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead recovery activities during disasters and critical incidents, ensuring timely restoration of critical services.
  • Drive post-incident problem management to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Plan, coordinate, and run disaster recovery and scenario exercises to validate service continuity.
  • Support the delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of disaster recovery and technology continuity policies and practices.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, providing continuity and incident management expertise to align operational practices with cyber risk objectives.
Requirements
  • Broad practical experience in Incident, Problem, and Service Continuity Management (ITSCM), with at least 5 years in Major Incident Management and ITSM.
  • Proven ability to coordinate technical and business resources to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • ITIL V3/4 Foundations certification or equivalent practical ITSCM experience; strong familiarity with ITSM tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize conflicting demands, and function effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
