Critical Care Specialist

The role of Emergency and Critical Care Nurse involves providing exceptional nursing care to critically ill and emergency patients in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the veterinary team to ensure seamless patient care, respond efficiently to emergencies, and maintain accurate patient records.

Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality nursing care to emergency and critical care patients.
- Assist veterinarians during diagnostic procedures, treatments, and surgeries.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including post-operative care.
- Communicate effectively with the veterinary team, pet owners, and specialists.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years experience in an emergency or critical care setting preferred.
- Strong technical nursing skills, including venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, and emergency response.
- Ability to work across a 24/7 roster.
