Critical Care Specialist

St Vincent's Health Australia is seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join the ICU team in fractional appointments. The ideal candidate will have prior consultant experience and skills in ECMO and neurocritical care.
About the PositionThis role involves contributing to the provision of high-quality patient care, participating in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and supporting existing unit research activities. You will be expected to have broad skills and experience in interdisciplinary collaboration, department management, and quality assurance.
- Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage complex patients
- Provision of supervision and support for junior medical staff including CICM trainees
- Department management and leadership
- Quality assurance and continuous improvement work
The appointment duration is 12 months fixed term and permanent position available. Classifications for this position range from HN19 - HN59 dependent on years of experience.
