The Centre for Animal Referral and Emergency (CARE) is a vibrant community of specialists, non-specialist veterinarians, veterinary nurses, and support staff who believe in working collaboratively, being supportive and respectful, having fun, and taking pride in what they achieve.
This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the ECC team in providing exceptional intensive and critical care to hospitalised patients. As a specialist in emergency and critical care, you will have direct clinical involvement in treating emergency and critical cases, as well as responsibility for teaching, leadership, guidance, and representation of the ECC team.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with respect and confidence in all interactions. They will also possess a drive to lead, collaborate, develop, and make a difference. Strong commitment to practicing at the highest possible standard is essential, as well as enthusiasm for the maintenance of team culture and dedication to emergency and critical care and its seamless integration with allied veterinary specialties.
