About the Role:

The Mental Health Clinician will form part of a multidisciplinary team providing mental health care for young people aged 12-25 and their families in the community. This role involves intake, assessment, brief intervention, and long-term therapeutic services both in-centre and outreach settings such as secondary schools.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing developmentally appropriate care to young people with mental health issues
  • Conducting psychological assessments, consultation, case management, and therapeutic treatment services under supervision
  • Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency or relevant professional body
  • Demonstrated experience working with young people aged 12-25 with mental health issues
  • Knowledge and skills to provide developmentally appropriate care
