Job Opportunity

We have a vacancy for a skilled and dedicated mental health professional to join our team. This role involves providing support services for individuals experiencing serious mental health problems.

The position is available across various regions, including Mitchell, Murrindindi, Strathbogie, Greater Shepparton, and Moira.

As a Community Mental Health Engagement Worker, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to assist consumers and their families in accessing mental health services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Offer information and support to improve access to other services
  • Collaborate with clinicians in their therapeutic work
  • Assist consumers and families in completing administrative tasks

You will work under the general supervision of a qualified health practitioner and have access to clinical expertise at all times.

This role is ideal for newly registered health practitioners looking to pursue a career in mental health.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Recently graduated health practitioner with current registration
  • Strong interest in mental health and well-being
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • High level of administrative, organisational, and time management skills
  • Possession of a full current Victorian driver's license
