Clinician Opportunity in Child and Youth Mental Health Services

This is a rewarding opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals who provide innovative services for children and young people experiencing mental health issues.

As a Clinician, you will work collaboratively with consumers, families, and other service providers to deliver high-quality mental health assessment, treatment, and consultation services within a recovery-oriented framework.

The role involves providing tertiary level mental health care to children and young people, including intake, initial assessment, brief intervention, and consultation services. You will also be responsible for case management and evidence-based mental health intervention for young people with complex mental health needs.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • a strong commitment to the values of compassion, respect, excellence, accountability, teamwork, and ethical behaviour
  • current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a registered nurse, occupational therapist, or psychologist (social workers will be eligible members with AASW)
  • a highly motivated individual with a passion for supporting children and young people
