Job Summary

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process for approximately 100 employees across multiple systems. The role offers variety through involvement in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and HR administration.

About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation as a Payroll Officer where you will be responsible for processing fortnightly payroll using MYOB and maintaining employee records ensuring compliance with relevant awards and regulations.

  • Process fortnightly payroll using MYOB
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with relevant awards and regulations
  • Prepare reports related to timekeeping superannuation and other payroll matters
  • Support HR processes including onboarding offboarding and employee documentation
  • Assist with general bookkeeping invoicing and administrative tasks
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of HR policies and procedures

In addition to payroll the role offers variety through involvement in Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and HR administration.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in payroll processing preferably within manufacturing or construction and a strong understanding of Fair Work legislation award interpretation and payroll compliance.
