We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to deliver accurate and timely pay to a diverse workforce.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to deliver accurate and timely pay to a diverse workforce.
About the job As a key member of a small, collaborative team, you'll be responsible for: Managing end-to-end payroll processing, from onboarding through to termination Performing termination calculations and applying relevant payroll rules and legislation Validating and maintaining payroll data in line with internal processes Handling email and phone enquiries with professionalism and efficiency Running a fortnightly pay cycle for a mixed workforce of permanent staff and third-party contractors About the offer Competitive salary of $85 000 to $90 000 plus superannuation Annual salary increases Additional benefits - ask us what they areHybrid work model: 1 to 2 days WFH per week once fully competent Be part of a stable, purpose-driven organisation with real community impact Flexible start time, from 6.30am daily About you We're seeking someone with: Solid experience in end-to-end payroll processing A strong grasp of payroll legislation and termination processes High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines Great communication skills to handle employee enquiries with care A team player mindset, ready to work closely with others in a collaborative environment Please apply with current resume in Microsoft Word format only (.doc or.docx).
