Job Overview

An Instrumentation and Analytics Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing and optimizing electrical monitoring equipment used on gas distribution networks.


Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and integration of instrumentation into data acquisition systems for accurate measurement.
  • Create and maintain technical drawings, including P&IDs and Loop Diagrams, to ensure seamless system performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot telemetry equipment to enhance measurement accuracy.
  • Conduct engineering calculations related to temperature, pressure, and flow to optimize system efficiency.
  • Program and maintain remote telemetry systems using specialized software.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Engineering (Advanced Diploma/Postgraduate qualifications also welcome).
  • Experience or strong interest in instrumentation, software, and communications.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, especially Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities.
