Electrical Monitoring Specialist Role

The primary responsibility of this Electrical Monitoring Specialist will be to design and implement monitoring equipment used on the gas distribution network.

This involves working closely with data acquisition systems, ensuring that all instrumentation is integrated seamlessly. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and possess excellent analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support technical teams by providing expert advice on electrical metering systems.
  • Develop and maintain accurate technical drawings and documentation.
  • Troubleshoot telemetry equipment to improve measurement accuracy and efficiency.
  • Perform complex calculations related to temperature, pressure, and flow.
  • Manage remote monitoring systems using proprietary software.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of data integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience or strong interest in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficient in IT systems, especially Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills.
