About the Role

  • This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Technical Data Specialist, working closely with gas metering systems and integrating instrumentation into data acquisition systems.

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are seeking an experienced professional to support the development and maintenance of technical drawings, including P&IDs and Loop Diagrams.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and troubleshooting telemetry equipment to improve measurement accuracy.
  • In addition, they will perform engineering calculations related to temperature, pressure, and flow.
  • They will also program and maintain remote telemetry systems using proprietary software.
  • An essential requirement of this role is ensuring data integrity and compliance with safety and regulatory systems.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with investigations teams to uphold safety standards in line with HSE objectives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • A degree in Electrical & Electronics or Instrumentation & Control Engineering (or equivalent) is required. Advanced qualifications or postgraduate studies are encouraged.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience or a strong interest in instrumentation, software, and communications.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, especially Microsoft Excel, with strong analytical and reporting skills is essential.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork abilities are vital for success in this role.
  • EEHA qualifications and experience are desirable but not essential.
