Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our team at Whizdom Recruitment. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of our desktop systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely and effective technical support to clients via phone, email, and in-person
  • Manage and resolve technical issues related to Windows Operating Systems, Office 365, and other desktop applications
  • Collaborate with the Tier 1 team to resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and maintain knowledge base articles to assist with troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with good attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service

Location and Contract Term:

This role is based in Canberra and is a contract position through to June 2025 with an extension option to 2027 pending budget and delegate approval.

Security Requirements:

Applicants must be Australian Citizens and hold a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain a NV1 security clearance.
