Job Overview
In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring successful project delivery while adhering to quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with the project management team to oversee and manage projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers to take ownership of technical on-site and off-site project requirements.
- Review client project engineering drawings and specifications to develop project technical deliverables.
- Develop installation documents and methodologies in conjunction with the project team to ensure clear project construction requirements for the site construction team.
- Work with the client project engineering team and suppliers to ensure project specification compliance.
- Deliver and manage subcontract shop drawing development, including model constructability reviews and client RFI response management.
- Monitor job progress and provide feedback to the production team, promoting a positive safety culture.
Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within the industry.
- Site-based experience in an industrial environment.
- Understanding of trades and disciplines involved in site operations.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Proven experience in managing construction projects, particularly in the field of site services.
- Able to interpret steel fabrication drawings and symbols, with a thorough understanding of design drawings.
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of industry safety requirements.
- Highly desirable: trade qualifications, drafting experience, ERP use experience, driver's license, and tertiary qualifications in a related area.
