Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Poly Welder to join our team onsite at the Midstream Demonstration Plant Project. This project is a joint venture between Pilbara Minerals and Calix Limited, aiming to construct and operate a demonstration-scale plant featuring the world's first industrial-scale electric spodumene calciner.

The successful candidate will be responsible for butt welding of polyethylene plastic pipe works and components, electro fusion welding of polyethylene plastic pipe works and components, and other related tasks.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project, contributing to the development of the battery materials supply chain.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PMBWELD301 butt welding of polyethylene plastic pipe works and components certificate
  • PMBWELD302 electro fusion welding of polyethylene plastic pipe works and components certificate
  • Construction White Card
  • Driver's Licence
  • High Risk Work Licence - Elevated Work Platform
  • Australian Work Rights
  • Must be able to pass a full pre-employment medical & D&A

Benefits

This role offers a 2 weeks on 1 week off roster, with the opportunity to transfer to other projects after 6 months. The location is in the Pilbara Region WA, with point of hire in Perth.
