Job Opportunity

We are seeking experienced pipe welders to work in dynamic site environments.

  • Pipe welding (butt fusion & electrofusion) using McElroy and Dixon machines
  • Assisting with installation of HDPE, steel, and copper pipelines
  • Hydrotesting, commissioning, and tie-in works
  • Operating IT Loaders, Skid Steers, and Excavators (where licensed)
About the Role

This role offers long-term security with excellent rates, consistent rosters, and the chance to work on large-scale projects with top mining and civil contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Polywelding (Butt Fusion & Electrofusion) using McElroy and Dixon machines
  • HDPE, steel, and copper pipeline installation assistance
  • Hydrotesting, commissioning, and tie-in works execution
  • IT Loader, Skid Steer, and Excavator operation (where licensed)
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Valid Polywelding tickets - Butt Weld (PMBWELD301E) & Electrofusion (PMBWELD302E)
  • Skilled in operating McElroy & Dixon welding equipment: T900, T500, T618, HF630 & HF225
  • White/Blue Card
  • Valid Driver's Licence (HR desirable)
  • Current Working at Heights and Confined Space certifications
  • Chainsaw, Dogging, Loader, and Crane (C2 / C6) tickets - highly regarded
  • Previous mining or civil experience (FMG, Rio, BHP, Roy Hill inductions highly desirable)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
  • Strong safety focus and a great work ethic
