We are seeking experienced Full time and Casual Welders, Pipe Fitters, Metal Fabricators, Mechanical Fitters, Electronic Instrument Maintenance Technicians, Pressure Welders, Sheet Metal Workers, Metal Machinists and Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join our team for Workshop and Site Work.

Welders, Pipe Fitters, Metal Fabricators and Mechanical Fitters must be experienced in both construction and maintenance projects. Pressure Welders must be experienced in welding and repairing pipes.

Minimum Requirement :

Trade Certificate2 years' experience working in a similar role within this industryMust pass a Medical and Drug ScreenBe reliable, punctual and hard workingClear understanding of Safety Regulations & Safe Work Practices

We are also seeking an Engineering Technologist to join our team.

Job Description :

Deliver capital projects safely, on time, on budget, and to specification, meeting business requirementsEngage all stakeholders through the project lifecycle to ensure both robust project scope development and effective communication as the project is implementedEngage project team to ensure safety is forefront in scope development and risks are eliminated wherever possible in good engineering designProvide project and engineering support to the manufacturing sites including feasibility studies, business case development, project planning, project implementation, contractor management, and commissioning and trainingPrepare layout and process drawings for planning, construction & installation of new equipment and manufacturing facilitiesPrepare business case papers and technical documentationNegotiation and management of contracts for the supply of equipment and servicesFollow internal systems and best practice project management methodologies to execute projects with excellence, meeting time, quality and cost targets

The ideal candidate will have :

Engineering Degree or equivalentMinimum 2 years' experienceProven track record in managing complex projects and programsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a self-starter driveDemonstrated ability to mix professionally and build effective relationships at all levels internally and externallyAbility to scope, plan and manage complex projects and programs of workAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple stakeholders to achieve deadlines and goalsConfident and articulate communicator, with the ability to effectively articulate your ideas and opinions to diverse audiences

Must have valid working rights in Australia.

Salary : $76,515 - $90,000. Location : Naval Base, Perth.
