Job Description

We are seeking a skilled technician to collaborate with our cross-functional team of engineers in designing and implementing complex electro-mechanical systems from concept to finished product.

The successful candidate will work closely with the mechanical engineering team to prepare and execute change request forms throughout the change request process, plan and design new products, and coordinate with electronics design and development teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Preparing sketches, 3D CAD designs, and production drawings according to instructions from lead mechanical engineers.
  • Reviewing existing designs to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Coordinating with electronics design and development teams.
  • Assisting with integration and validation of new hardware.
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive Bills of Materials for upcoming projects.
  • Selecting components from warehouse and assembling mechanical construction and installation of electronics for new machines.
  • Functionality testing and calibration of machine sensors, lens alignment, and image focusing.
  • Developing clear, concise work instructions for post-production maintenance and inspection.
Requirements

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, have at least 3 years of relevant work experience, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Additionally, the candidate should be self-motivated, energetic, and capable of managing time by prioritizing tasks and working to agreed time frames.

A positive attitude, ability to work autonomously, and experience in R&D and/or product development environments are also highly valued.
