The Electro-Mechanical Site supervisor will assist with building and commissioning of products and in-house prototype products. The work locations will vary depending on project-specific requirements from our homebase in Sydney, Australia to sites around the globe. Initially under the tutelage of experienced installers.
Responsible for managing or performing Complex onsite Electro-Mechanical Hardware deployments and integration for the organization. Overall responsibility for Providing technical expertise skills on site to Supervise and train teams to install electro-mechanical products with airports. Baggage handing systems (BHS) Conveyors Auto Bag Drops, KIOSK, E-Gates and other for customer projects.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Assist with assembly and installation Bag Drops, conveyors and related systems
- Ensure config and imaging for all items is maintained for the production schedule
- Ensure checklists are well maintained
- Train and guide other team members as well as vendors
- Ensure conformance to specifications and quality internally and externally with vendors
- Trouble shooting of software and hardware separately and integrated
- Ensuring continuous improvement is implemented across all functions
- Assist with daily report
- Ensure and promote values
- Implement and maintain occupational health and safety.
Key Skills
- Strong electrical and mechanical background
- Industrial automation
- Working in Electromechanical field on conveyors
- Understanding and updating electrical wiring diagrams
- Understanding the basic mechanical assembly of Sheetmetal, CNC and moulded plastic parts
- Basic network experience configuring and troubleshooting (switches, routers, IP addresses, servers etc.
- Have experience with various Microsoft packages. Windows, Excel, Visio, Outlook
- Trouble shooting software and hardware during integration testing, ability to communicate back to developers and designers where necessary
- Occupational health and safety
- Attention to detail, accuracy
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Understanding importance of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Good cultural fit with the dynamics of a fast-paced high technology and growing company
- Ability and willingness to adapt to and work with local customs and cultures across the globe
- Ability to travel extensively (both International and domestic)
