Director of People and Culture

This is an exciting opportunity to lead strategic workforce initiatives. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on attracting, retaining and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Work closely with the Executive team to develop and implement staff engagement and development strategies that align with the school's purpose and vision.
  2. Foster a positive work environment that supports the school's values while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Play a key role in recruitment and provide guidance on HR matters to staff and leadership.
  4. Provide timely support to the Principal and other Executive leaders on critical HR matters as they arise.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with all stakeholders.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex HR issues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
