Operations Director

This role is responsible for delivering strategic objectives with operational excellence.

About The Role

The Operations Director will oversee the management of teams to ensure delivery of high quality service and experience.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including delivery plan, freight movement and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to align operations with organisational objectives.
  • Report on operational efficiency and quality standards.
  • Uphold health and safety guidelines and enforce compliance.
  • Ensure all incidents and hazards are reported and investigated in a timely manner.
  • Monitor employee and team performance, offering coaching, training and feedback for improvement.
  • Oversee staffing plans, recruitment and training.
  • Communicate job expectations while providing coaching and assistance to the team.
Core Deliverables:
  • Manage a safe workplace that adheres to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Proactive management and coaching of the operations team to exceed customer delivery expectations.
  • Implement performance feedback mechanisms for direct reports.
  • Develop training plans for team members.
