We are seeking an experienced Precision Parts Expert to join our team in Launceston. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate information related to all parts needs.

Job Description:
A typical day as a Cat Parts Specialist will involve:
  • Engaging with customers at the front counter, both face-to-face and over the phone, to understand their parts requirements.
  • Locating and retrieving Cat parts for customers and technicians in a timely manner.
  • Following up on outstanding jobs related to parts inquiries and customer concerns.
  • Utilizing digital and print resources to accurately interpret system-based parts information.
  • Participating in warehouse tasks, including receiving, order picking, and dispatching parts.
  • Ensuring company accounts receivable processes are adhered to in relation to parts sales transactions.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of display areas.

About You:
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong passion for customer service, a willingness to learn and develop into a Cat Parts Specialist, and the following skills and attributes:
  • Sound mechanical knowledge and a background in earthmoving or automotive.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Experience working with different systems and databases.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products is preferred but not essential.
