Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Office Specialist to join our team at the Department of Health, Tasmania. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our radiation oncology, medical oncology, and clinical haematology departments. Your primary responsibility will be to manage medical records and coordinate patient care using integrated patient management systems.

About the Position
This is a permanent full-time position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, with opportunities for professional development and accelerated pathways. You will have access to excellent leave benefits, including 20 days annual leave (pro rata) and 20 days personal leave (pro rata). Additionally, you can enjoy salary packaging benefits, including living expenses and meal entertainment.

The Team
You will be part of the WP Holman Clinic Launceston and Northern Cancer Services team, providing outpatient Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Clinical Haematology Services to patients referred by their GP or specialist across Northern/North-West Tasmania. The clinic has an active support of cancer research within Tasmania and provides modern specialist cancer services in addition to having direct access to all other hospital services that may be required.
