About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Management Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA Business Solutions. As a key member of our consulting operations team, you will be responsible for effectively managing the allocation and utilization of our team of consultants.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring the right people with the right skills are allocated to all of our projects, which will directly contribute to the success of our projects and the organization as a whole.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the resourcing function, responsible for the effective management and allocation of internal and external resources between client projects and internal tasks.
  • Manage resource forecasting and resourcing accuracy based on inputs from the Sales, Support, and Delivery teams.
  • Manage end-to-end engagement of contractors, including onshore and offshore resources with sister or partner organizations.
  • Monitor resourcing aspects of projects to ensure projects remain adequately resourced, highlighting and solving gaps or clashes.
  • Monitor utilization levels and trends, providing real-time accurate reporting on roster coverage, demand, and gap analysis, identifying instances of under-utilization and conflicts.
  • Resolve booking conflicts where required, managing conflicts related to resourcing issues and negotiating acceptable outcomes with all involved parties.
  • Alert relevant managers to any potential concerns or issues with meeting project requirements.
  • Drive maintenance of skills matrix by consultants for up-to-date skill classifications.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in resource management, preferably within IT consultancy or professional services.
  • Knowledge of ERP, SAP, or Analytics is highly desirable.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex resourcing scenarios and present simple and effective solution options.
