About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our innovative finance team at Nationwide Group. This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on the company's financial performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and reporting on corporate Profit & Loss statements, budgeting and forecasting, as well as managing facilities with bank providers. They will also create and manage dashboards, forecast cash flow, and conduct balance sheet reconciliations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and report on corporate Profit & Loss statements
  • Budget and forecast, advising stakeholders on budget management
  • Manage facilities with bank providers
  • Create and manage dashboards
  • Forecast cash flow and focus on capex reporting
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage the accounts' payable function and ensure suppliers are paid on time and accurately
  • Manage, mentor and provide leadership to 2 AP officers
  • Act as a business partner to corporate areas, with a focus on process improvement in Finance (AP, AR, Payroll, Accounting)
  • Oversee processes, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Business/Finance
  • CA/CPA Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as an Accountant
  • High level of numeracy skills
  • Strong data analysis skills
