As Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day F&B operations, leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience. You will be a calming influence in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to sustain and drive positive morale, creating a culture that people want to be a part of.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of food and beverage professionals to deliver exceptional service and experiences for our guests.
  • Coordinate and manage the day-to-day F&B operations, including inventory management, stock control, and rostering.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience and drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Beverage team to create menus and promotions that showcase the best of Tasmanian produce.
  • Ensure that all F&B operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner, with a focus on sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a hotel restaurant environment, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
  • Sound operational experience, with a focus on inventory management, stock control, and rostering.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and a willingness to assist in all areas of F&B operations during peak times.
  • RSA certificate and full working rights in Australia.
